FUN Fridays: Featuring The Mompremiers

Today I’m celebrating 5 years of marriage. I’m so excited and happy. They have been filled with the good, the bad and the ugly. It’s been one FUN ride. I look forward to manifesting many more memories, lessons, tears, laughters and MILAGROS! ( The tears are ALL me.)

Our most FUN argument

This one time we had a major discussion about highlighting in books. My husband felt that once you highlighted it made it difficult to lend out a book because you were influencing a person’s opinion with the highlighting.. (I still think this is crazy). I felt it didn’t matter and instead would help the borrower, by drawing their attention to what you thought were important parts. We carried on for at least 20 min or more. It was hilarious and reminded us of a “Seinfeld” episode.

That was a long time ago and since then we have learned to respectfully, “Agree to disagree” on many topics.

Our most FUN manifestation

It’s a toss up between our house and our dog. We love our house so much and have enjoyed making it our own. We are currently manifesting a new house with more space and will really miss our first house when we are gone. Then there is our newly adopted doggy. We have had him only 10 months in July but we love him very much. He has a great personality and give us lots of laughs.

Our most FUN/sweet memory

One time I woke up in the middle of the night screaming because I got these bad cramps in my legs. My husband woke up startled and immediately began rubbing my legs to help with the cramps. Eventually they subsided, but the next morning I could not stop laughing about the whole thing. I thought it was so cute that he was willing to rub my legs to help me out.

Our most FUN place to shop

We love Best Buy and Ikea. It’s the two places where both of us have something in common. He doesn’t like malls or shopping. And I love visiting malls everywhere!

But we found some common interests, movies and furniture.

Our most FUN purchase

We both love watching sports and movies. Last year we bought a new TV ( though we’ve upgraded many times before this time was special) and blu ray player so everything could look extra sharp and clear. It made a HUGE difference with sports, everything looks so shiny.

The best part was when we bought it. We were visiting our family in Georgia. We got up at 4am got ready and headed to Best Buy to check out the deals. After we bought it we realized the TV really didn’t fit in the trunk of the car properly.. but we worked it out. Good times!

We enjoy going out on dates. Our favorite place in Applebee’s. lol.

I guess we are simple folks.

Our most FUN spiritual practice

I meditate all the time, but my husband, not so much. I convinced him to try it out.

We sat in front of each other. I sat with my legs crossed and he just kind of leaned on his knees. I don’t think he was comfortable crossed leg. He was weirded out by music or any person’s voice guiding the meditation, so we sat in silence.

It was definitely a memorable moment of silence. We have not done that again. lol

Our “real” spiritual practice together happens in the “love room”, which is his gaming room/man cave. He sits and plays video games and I sit next to him. Sometimes I watch what he is playing ,but mostly I talk to him. I talk about everything and anything I desire to talk about. Topics can include, law of attraction, my family, my day, my friends, meditation, chakras, aha moments, and many more. He listens and rarely says anything, except when I ask him to repeat back to me the last thing I said to make sure he is listening. Amazingly he always knows what I said!! I guess he really is listening.
