Dear God,
I come to you recognizing that I can’t do it all.
I have tried for many years to take manners into my own hands,
I have believed that I am in control of my life.
I have been deceived by my fear and have lived full of anxiousness and stress.
My wounds and burdens are too great and I am tired and exhausted.
I can no longer carry them,
take all of them from me.
Take all my problems, worries, concerns and resentments.
Lift all that weighs on me and pulls me down.
Let your strength and power fill my soul.
Let your love lift all those thoughts of fear and release them into the light.
I am willing to surrender every part of me, all that I am, to you.
Take me as I am.
